About the Artist

I am a native of South Carolina and proud to call it home. My father was a classically trained artist that worked in oils, pastels, charcoal, pen and ink and occasionally watercolors. My love of art began at a very early age. Starting at 8 years old I went scouting for inspiration and photos of prospective art with my father starting at 8 years old. I would draw and watch him paint.

While convalescing from Breast Cancer surgery I took up watercolors again as a form of art therapy. My love for the artform was reignited. What started as a pastime became a business and Lowcountry Watercolors was born.
